Summit Shutter Company was founded in 1999 with the goal of providing high quality window coverings. In 2001 we had the opportunity to provide window coverings directly to a home builder. This set us on the path of specializing in the new construction and home builder market.
Our main focus today is providing window coverings to home builders and new construction projects. We provide window coverings to some of the biggest home builders in Utah, including Ivory Homes, DR Horton and Oakwood Homes. We also provide window coverings to large apartment and commercial projects.

From selecting the wood to installing the shutters, our talent and expertise makes our shutters the best in the industry.
We use only the finest materials starting with warp-free hardwood from sustainable forests. We choose top quality water based stains and paints, and the most durable and elegant contemporary and traditional hardware.
Each one of our shutters is handcrafted and receives the time and professional attention necessary to make a quality product. We use finely calibrated machinery to cut and process all of our warp-free parts. Each shutter has three coats of primer and one topcoat to ensure an impeccable finish.
The shutter's durability and functionality is just as important as it's style and design. Each rail and stile is joined with five dowels. We use 1 1/4” staples and nylon louver pins for durability and double the tension screws to provide a lifetime of adjustable tension in each panel.
